<reviewbody>Richard Boone does well throughout this movie, especially as he expresses the horror of realization washing over him in this fairly creepy horror movie. The director, Albert Band, does well too. He communicates Boone's isolation and in showing the map of graves through Boone's eyes taking on the form of a cubist face staring, perhaps mocking him as he nearly descends into madness. The screenplay could have been punched up some, though. It does drag a bit, and the ending was a little hard to swallow. The production reminded me of old TV shows like <i>Playhouse 90</i>.

As in some other sci-fi and horror films from the era, the filmmakers try to ground the supernatural in science, something I've always found to be both interesting and ridiculous about those films.

I downloaded 694MB DivX file. The picture appeared too dark at times, but was otherwise fine. The audio was clear.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>This movie is MUCH better than most movies with similar type titles and I'm not really completely convinced this is really horror so much as a good, solid mystery. Richard Boone gives a very solid performance here. it's to bad they hung this crappy title on it.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>It strted a little slow, but never lost my interest, and just gets better. Some fun visual effects and a VERY good performance really makes it work. (I do believe that's Dennis the menace's father in a supporting role)</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>THIS FILM STRUCK ME AS AN UNKNOWN GEM.IT IS HORROR/MYSTERY, WITH AN EXPRESSIONISTIC QUALITY TO IT. DARK, SPOOKY, ATMOSPHERIC, CHAOTIC,(in a good way). IT SEEMS IF IT HAD A KNOWN "HORROR ACTOR" OF THE TIME IN THE LEAD IT WOULD HAVE GONE DOWN AS ONE OF THEY'RE BEST (KARLOFF, PRICE?). RICHARD BOONE IS GREAT. (I WOULD VENTURE TO SAY IT IS ONE OF HIS BEST ?)BUT THOSE THAT LIKE MR.BOONE MIGHT NOT LIKE THIS, AND THOSE THAT LIKE THIS KIND OF FILM MAY NOT BE ABLE TO GET "PALADIN" OUT OF THEIR MINDS</reviewbody>
    <reviewtitle>A GEM INTERESTING PLUS !</reviewtitle>
